The Larimer Humane Society's "Catsino Royale" fundraiser Saturday at the Embassy Suites was not only fun, but very inspirational. Channel 7's Lisa Hildago and I co-Mc'd the event for the second year. The generosity of northern colorado was once again overwhelming. I'm always amazed how giving this area of the state is. There was one package where the winner could pick which animal they could adopt. The winner was the owner of her own business. She picked out a beautiful puppy that she gave to another woman. This woman works for her and had recently lost a dog to disease. This woman and her newfound friend bonded immediately. I've never seen a puppy so excited! If licks were worth a penny apiece,tThis lady would be the wealthiest woman on the face of the earth. There wasn't a dry eye in the place. It was an emotionally wonderful moment.
