Al Malmberg is a 40 year radio veteran who comes to FOXNews Radio 600 KCOL from KSTP-AM and WCCO-AM in Minneapolis/St.Paul, Minnesota. In 2008, Al was voted "Best AM Radio Personality" by City Pages readers. Prior to his time in the Twin Cities, All hosted a synidcated talk show ont he Business Radio Network.
Al and his wife Kathy return to Fort Collins after living here in the 1970s. Together, they have two sons, and just recently had their first grandson!
Al and Kathy love to ski, but Al's passion is flying. As a private pilot, he says there are few things better than greasing a landing. "You don't need anyone else in the plane to tell you how good it was. You just know," says Al.
A north Georgria school district is looking at a proposal that would allow district police to store rifles in school offices in the event they're needed to defend students in a school shooting. Gainesville School Superintendent Merrianne Dyer says resource officers would have access to rifles placed at Gainsville schools. The rifles would be stored in a safe in the school office. The idea came from the Gainesville Police Department. If this idea were proposed in your school district, would you support it?
