Al Malmberg is a 40 year radio veteran who comes to FOXNews Radio 600 KCOL from KSTP-AM and WCCO-AM in Minneapolis/St.Paul, Minnesota. In 2008, Al was voted "Best AM Radio Personality" by City Pages readers. Prior to his time in the Twin Cities, All hosted a synidcated talk show ont he Business Radio Network.
Al and his wife Kathy return to Fort Collins after living here in the 1970s. Together, they have two sons, and just recently had their first grandson!
Al and Kathy love to ski, but Al's passion is flying. As a private pilot, he says there are few things better than greasing a landing. "You don't need anyone else in the plane to tell you how good it was. You just know," says Al.
More women are traveling around the world alone. Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) report having a rise in the number of single occupant rooms being booked by females around the globe. SLH says the demand for single occupant female rooms had a 53-percent increase between 2011 and 2012. As a result, hotels are offering perks aimed at females such as all-female floors, in room women's magazines, premium toiletries and hair straightners. Have you ever traveled alone?
