Yesterday, I shared a video of a teenager with his face stuck in a phone while spending time with family - which as it turns out, he was making a Christmas present to show his family. It's sort of a new "classic" Christmas commercial.
Today, I'm counting down my favorite Christmas commercials.
This one is one of those classic commercials that I remember since I was in grade school. I don't think this commercial is as relevant today - I can't remember the last time I was able to buy Folgers in a can.
This one is funny because Barney finally gets his Fruity Pebbles cereal that Fred has been keeping from him all year.
This commercial is from before my time, but it's still one of those iconic commercials I remember from when I was younger.
Did you say Honey and Nuts? Yep. This one is always a favorite, as the Honey Nut Cheerios bee was able to melt the heart of old Ebenezer Scrooge with a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios. This means the visits from the 3 spirits were unnnecessary? All you needed was a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios?
So simple - but so effective. It shows the product, and gives it just a fun little twist. My favorite part at the end is when the Hershey's Kiss wipes his brow with his little flag at the end and goes "whew!"
The commercial has run each holiday season since 1989, becoming the longest running Hershey’s product commercial.
