ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Broncos WR Wes Welker has been suspended by the league for four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

According to Albert Breer, Welker's appeal of the NFL's decision has already been heard by the league, and the decision to uphold the suspension came down today.

Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk claims that Welker took Molly that had been cut with amphetamines while he was at the Kentucky Derby, resulting in the positive test.
