Should Fireworks Be Illegal in Colorado: KCOL Poll of the Week for June 21-27
Posted Friday, June 21st 2013 @ 2pm

With a variety of forest fires going statewide, including the Black Forest Fire in Colorado Springs, people are looking for ways to reduce the forest fire danger statewide.

While some forest fires are started by lightning strikes or electrical lines, there are other forest fires caused people, including using fireworks.

The KCOL Poll of the Week Asked:

Should Fireworks Be Illegal in Colorado?

  • Yes: With the High Fire dangers, we can't be too careful - 25% of responses
  • No: Fireworks aren't the only cause of forest fires - 75% of responses

Keep in mind the KCOL Poll of the Week is an unscientific poll and is subject to errors.
