(Baton Rouge, LA)  --  An Auburn University lacrosse player is in big trouble after police say he went on a "Grand Theft Auto"-inspired crime spree in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Zachary Burgess was nabbed early Sunday morning after cops say he stole a parked and running truck with a passenger inside, and began to drive in an "erratic and dangerous" fashion.  The passenger says it was a dangerous situation.

Burgess is accused of striking nine vehicles while he was behind the wheel of the stolen vehicle. When questioned by detectives, Burgess reportedly told them he "wanted to see what it was really like to play the video game Grand Theft Auto." He faces a slew of charges including auto theft, kidnapping and hit-and-run.
